My experience began with a warm welcome from Ivano, the owner, whose helpfulness transcended any language barriers. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, setting the stage for a culinary journey steeped in local traditions. I indulged in a tasting menu that brilliantly showcased local dishes, aimed at immersing me in regional flavors. Each plate featured ingredients like aromatic salt and red wine vinegar, elevating salads to good heights. The rich and unique olive liqueur, Ulaios, was another highlight that added depth to my dining experience. Breakfast, featuring artisanal jams produced during peak ripening, was equally nice. Wildflower honey complemented the meal beautifully, rich in restorative properties. The attention to detail in every dish was evident, resulting in a dining experience that resonated with my love for the culinary arts.
